The Effect of High Body Mass Index on Self-Esteem and Sexual Functions in Obese Females Admitted to The Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Department

Objective: Obesity can be defined as body weight above the desired level. has gone beyond being a cosmetic problem and is now referred to disease, there currently significantly increasing number of studies examining relationship between obesity psychopathology. The psychological social effects also affect self-confidence individual behavioral orientation at onset sexual intercourse avoidance. aim this study was determine whether high mass index an effect on selfesteem functions in obese women who were center.
 Methods: This descriptive conducted 1.11.2018 15.01.2020. A total 202 patients from plastic surgery department centre included study. All assessed twice within 7-month period with Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale, Body Perception Scale Arizona Sexual Experiences Scale.
 Results: Of evaluated, 66.3% 51-70 years age range, 52% had range 35-39.9. Evaluation two applications scales showed significant positive first scale second scores seven months after loss.
 Conclusion: results that decrease perception satisfaction.
